In the wireless-device industry, there is almost no competition. Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) earned nearly $400 million last quarter and sells one of the most popular smart phones in the business. Still RIM comes in 3rd place after Symbian and the iPhone. In the US RIM has a 21% share but that is nothing compared to the iPhone’s 50% share. A lot of blackberry Storm apps are coming out that have an iphone-like personality. The search company first brought the speech-driven app, which brings text search results requested by voice queries, to Apple’s iPhone last year. BlackBerry users can hold down the green call button to initiate voice searches once the app is opened.

Well I m Blackberry Storm user and I m Jealous of the very cool search-by-voice feature available to Google Mobile users on both the iPhone and Android? Missing this facility……….. Coz Google said the app is available on BlackBerry smartphones running OS 4.1 or better, but it’s not yet available for the touch-screen BlackBerry Storm.
